ABOUT NURSERY CLASS
Where Learning Becomes a Joyful Habit
Formal education really starts in the Kings Care Nursery Class, where we are most deliberate about making that start outstanding. Language, early literacy, and early numeracy are neurologically primed in children between the ages of three and four. In order to meet this readiness, our nursery curriculum is created with a program that plays joyfully, teaches with purpose, and guarantees that each child develops academically, socially, and emotionally.
Children learn what it means to be a student in our Nursery Class, which goes beyond academics. intentionally sitting and listening. following a two-step guide. putting up a hand. assisting a friend. assuming accountability for their personal possessions. These habits of mind and character, built consistently at age three and four, make the transition to Reception Class smooth, confident, and exciting.
