Discovery Class
Your child’s world changes dramatically between the ages of 18 and 24 months. Suddenly, everything is worthwhile to touch, taste, climb, and question. Our Discovery program is designed for this exact moment—a vibrant, safe, expertly guided environment in which your toddler’s natural desire to understand the world is met with limitless, joyful possibilities.
ABOUT DISCOVERY CLASS
Feeding the Mind That Cannot Stop Exploring
The Discovery Class at King’s Care is designed around one simple truth: toddlers between 18 and 24 months are the most naturally motivated learners you will ever meet. They do not need to be pushed — they need to be given a rich, safe, and endlessly intriguing environment that rewards their curiosity. Our Discovery program does exactly that.
Every corner of our Discovery classroom is intentional. From tactile play stations and soft climbing structures to music corners and water play, children move freely between activities under the watchful guidance of our trained Early Years educators. We believe in child-led exploration supported by skilled adult facilitation — we follow your toddler’s interest and enrich it, rather than redirecting them toward a predetermined task.
Socially, the Discovery Class marks your child’s first real experience of being part of a peer group. Learning to share a toy, wait for a turn, offer a gesture of comfort to another child, or simply sit beside someone at snack time — these moments are the seeds of character. Our teachers nurture them with patience, warmth, and a deep understanding of toddler development.

What Your Child Gains in Discovery
Cognitive
Early problem-solving, comprehension of causes and effects, play-based spatial awareness, object classification, early memory, and recognition abilities.
Social
First friendships, parallel play progressing to interactive play, early empathy, conflict navigation with adult support, group belonging and identity.
Language
Explosion in vocabulary—usually between 50 and 200+ words by 24 months. Early conversational turn-taking, naming objects, two-word phrases, and following directions.
